Tabards still look weird, with the emblem going down the legs and being cut in half by the belt, instead of on the chest like one of the drawings when you load the game suggests it looks.

I don't really mind that, except for the fact that it spams my screen with textwalls of completely useless information.Dryvus 说:I'd like it if places didn't change prosperity almost every day. It should take longer than 24 hours for a village to go from poor to rich, unless all these villager parties are hauling sacks of gold dust. If they are, I'm going to start killing them.

Actually, I'm happy to report that in the newest version the player does get a dagger as well. Personally I was hoping for a sword, something it's possible to block with, but hey, it's progress!laheja 说:In arena AI has daggers and bows but player got only bow![]()
It's both, actually. It's not really inaccuracy, it's as if the arrows are not flying from your bow but from somewhere above and to the left of the character. It feels really odd, and combined with the force field it has the paradoxical effect that it's easier for me to hit enemies who are far away and blocking than those who are close and not blocking.Kazzan 说:Also, why can't you use bows? Inaccuracy? Shield force field?
The horse now imparts momentum on the arrow in the direction of travel, depending on the speed of the horse. Takes a little getting used to.Ringwraith #5 说:I've noticed that too. It's as if the arrow flies not from your bow but from somewhere above and to the left of your character, isn't it? It's very frustrating.
You sure about that? I've tested that and I can't seem to get any kind of measurable result that would suggest that. Plus I have trouble shooting even while standing still.Archonsod 说:The horse now imparts momentum on the arrow in the direction of travel, depending on the speed of the horse. Yup, we even had it toned down during the beta to make it no longer possible to shoot around corners. If you're moving on the horse it takes around 25% or so of the horses momentum in the direction the horse is travelling.Ringwraith #5 说:You sure about that? Quite a long time before firearms actually, see slingshot.Qikdraw 说:Which brings me to one thing I find humourous... In the game when you meet up with a 'belligerent drunk' and you go to fight him, if you switch to your bow the tavernkeeper says 'No Shooting!'. Shooting? I didn't think that made it into the vocabulary until after firearms? But thats just a minor little thing I noticed.

Tiberius 说:These are the things I mostly wanted to be changed, but they weren't:
1) Better character models overall. This includes faces and bodies (and their respective textures... skin still looks like plastic)
2) New siege mechanics or at least 2 ladders in every castle/town scene.
3) Auto-resolve and campaign battles are still ****ed
4) Battle AI being improved (khergits still charge like morons even though they should run around the enemy avoiding it.
5) Formations and a GODDAMN PRE-BATTLE SCREEN WHERE I CAN TELL MY MEN WHAT TO DO BEFORE THE BATTLE.
The last one especially.
Ah, sneak into town cunningly disguised as a bloodthirsty, plate armoured warrior you mean?RAD_X 说:Adding to the problem of not having side arms in tournaments, how about giving better weapons to those sneaking into towns? It is no fun trying to fight off 4 or 5 angry, shield-wielding, chain-armored, axe-throwing Nords when you have a broomstick and a bunch of useless throwing knives

They're not daggers, it's his coin purse.RAD_X 说:Well, if you think about it, why in the name of god, would you let a hobo into your castle/town who can't make a single step without jingling with a bunch of throwing daggers.
He comes from nowhere, bests the highest lords of your faction in a tournament and kills most of the guards who try to stop him. Now ask yourself as a gate guard who probably earns less than a denar a day, would you try to stop him leaving, or would you suddenly have urgent business elsewhere when you see him heading for your gate? Then, not only would you let him to go in, but also wander about, kill your guards, win tournaments, celebrate at local taverns, break out prisoners, buy embarassingly large amounts of goods, lavishly spend money at local shops, and then leave through the very same castle-gates at will.
Difference is, when they tell them to remove their helm they don't look like a wanted man.Besides, how the hell do Hired Blades get in? After all, we all look the same with buckets of steel over our faces.
