Thing to be Fixed

Users who are viewing this thread

Im not sure if there is already a thread for this but, iv been noticing 2 thing that happen to me and other. 1: Sometimes the correct block dosnt work when being attack in melee and 2: for some reason me and others have been killed in melee when actually the weapon being used to kill the person didnt actually hit them. Im just hoping you guys could fix things like that, they are minor but bother people off including myself.

Havn't encountered 1), but I can't remember the number of times where I'm died for a sword, that wasn't close to my body (according to the animations). I'm not sure if swords got a slightly longer range than they appear to?

It feels like the heavy cavalry sword has a longer range then it looks like it should. I couldnt state that it definately does as curved blades in all of warband seem to feel like that to me (like the scimitar in native feels like its got some extra range too); but again that could be due to trying to animate a 3d object in r/l in a 2d environment

yeah, it's the exact same thing i'm experiencing.

Oh, thats good to know. So we need to take a look at the heavy cav sword. Thank you !

Wouldn't do any harm to check all the swords again to be honest. Also, I'm sure this must of already been pointed out but the tiles on all of the MM specific building roofs are upside down.

Yeah.. While I've only positively encountered this thing with the heavy cav sword, it might still be there s:

Is it just me or do you have to manual block with the sabre? its so annoying that i have to block down by looking down, otherwise it just does a right block.

I will check the swords, they definitely had a longer range than the model in the old mm mod, but I thought we fixed it.

However both of those bugs happen every now and again on native warband as well, there is not much we can do I'm afraid :(

the heavy cav sword isnt too noticeable. I mean i only really noticed it when we were training for playing in wavre as the imperial dragoons.

AHAHAH Jesus !
You must have your block on manual. If you stay on automatic, it won't block always were you want. But you must also train with the manual blocking, cause it's a little hard the first time.  :)
