There's will be an option for turn on/off the aging in future, right?

I don't know that they will. There has been no word on it. Of course, I like it so I am not unhappy about it. There isn't even fast aging anyway. The ageing is slow. A child to grow up takes 15 years, that is over 1200 days. The game is over by then for the most part. They need to fix that first and slow the pace of the game (not in relation to ageing)

I hope they shows us some kind of a "road map" thing. Like what will be next, what will be add in future.

I don't like roadmaps. They force developers to stick to a script and create hard deadlines while limiting their flexability in making changes that might prove better. Like adding an option to disable aging death and fast aging.

Yeah, basically the aging is a interesting gimmick, but totally useless and irrelevant as I was trying to tell some other guy who was losing his **** over this in the other thread.

You don't like the feedback, too bad. Btw, you started crying at another person before you started telling me not to give feedback during Early Access.

So which is it? Accelerated aging and aging death is a key feature and was announced a long time ago and we have to deal with it, or it's so small and insignificant it doesn't matter anyway? Either way there is an argument for turning it off. Why bother having the aging if no one will notice a difference?

Its not really irrelevant, though, since it affects the whole flow and pace of the game. Personally, I think its a detriment and if I had my druthers I'd remove it altogether since it adds little but costs a lot.

In Warband, your main character could conquer the whole world in one lifetime. Once you conquer the map, you've won. There's not much point in continuing on as Prince Snotnose II ruling over a peaceful kingdom. In order to make children relevant in Bannerlord, they needed to speed up the timescale to a point that feels uncomfortably fast, and slow down character growth so much that it loses that satisfying sense of progression that's a big part of the fun in this game. Its as if they needed to ration out the fun to ensure that there's still some left for your children and grandchildren. But if I'm not having a lot of fun with my main character, why would I stick around for his kids?

It is a little useless now yes because not all of the features have been implemented yet, but turning off aging invalidates most of the purpose of clans.

Possibly, but it might throw off the balance. It could be difficult to keep the game balanced on both aging and no-aging playthorughs. Given that they plan on aging playing a big role, much of the game will be balanced around it - how many members do clans have, for how long are lord imprisoned and how likely are they to be executed, how often do lord jump ship, how likely are lords to die in battle etc.

Right now aging is a shallow system with little impact on the game, almost useless. But if they dont screw it up and implement it properly, it could make the game much deeper and more awesome. Just one example - marriages could actually mean something now. Marry well enough, and (if they make children grow up fast enough to be useful) you might be able to die a vassal but continue playing as your child, who became king by birth-right. That is of course far in the future of development and a lot of things would have to go right for something like this to be added and work well, so I dont have my hopes high.

Not to get into a whole pissing match about aging, but giving players and option isn't a bad thing. Whether that's TW doing or a mod I really don't care but on some play through I'm going to see what it's like to keep my character from aging.
