1.3 is hard to play . much crash pooh...

I suggest you to change to the early access branch.

The beta branch are supposed to be with some crash and bugs....

They sent out some hotfixes after 25th, but I gave up after 8 consequtive crash (crashes at end of combat 100%), and rolled back to 1.21

Only 2,3 GB, but still glad I pulled the trigger before going to bed.
 
to mush crash and poorer fps, I can't stand the 1.3 but the difficulty of AI is really attractive.
 
I never had a crash before moving to beta. I get some crashes on beta, but they have generally been for identifiable reasons in specific circumstances that I'm able to avoid after I've reproduced them a couple of times.
 
1.3 for me: A few more crashes(nothing too annoying), but better performance and much better AI.
Have some patience...enjoy the weekend. I am sure we will get something next week...
 
0 crashes for me in 1.3.0. Better AI which is really appreciated.

For people having crashes: are you using mods?
 
I like the better army compositions in 1.3, but the AI's agression is back to its worst level and even using mods to try and stop it, factions are being overrun in less than 100 days.

I never had a crash before moving to beta. I get some crashes on beta, but they have generally been for identifiable reasons in specific circumstances that I'm able to avoid after I've reproduced them a couple of times.

Right now, no mods, safe mode, fresh save with newest hotfixes or older 1.3 end of combat = crash 100% of the time, 8 consequtive times across 3 saves, army on army, army on raiders, party on raiders, fresh party on looters - doesn't make a diff. As last or second to last enemy dies = crashy time.

I've had very rarely game crash before. NPC overhaul and village icons mods crash my game at launch. Otherwise when possible (including now back on 1.21 and on 1.3 until hotfix of 25th) I use Faster Dialog, Cheer Mod and Banner Paste (did try with vanilla banner on fresh save, no diff), but again - the problem persists on vanilla everything.

My only complaint: Its still not really possible, or very hard to run an own kingdom. Its more peaceful now, no random wars from my side at least. But still other declare war on me so often that my funds quickly drain from bartering peace all the time. 2 fiefs and no vassals make it too hard to fight more than one strong faction at a time...

Without using the dev console to force peace, the khuzaits regularly over run the map for me.

Also, the game is doing the super frustrating (to me) thing of skipping over closer cities to besiege cities in the middle of the enemy empire, and, like, I really value neat and logical borders. At one point, they had quashed this, but it's happening again.

Yep I can confirm that they are more balanced and have less chance to snowball. One problem I found making Khuzaits snowball easily is that SE and NE lords can stuck in mountains near one of the castles (forget the name). This makes those two factions weaker cause there can be 5-6 lords stuck and they never leave the place. It makes it easier for Khuzaits to take settlement after settlement without any opposition.

The last hotfix has made kingdoms less aggressive in my campaigns. On the other hand, I have noticed new snowballing issues but It looks like It is something related to some Lords going to bankrupt, having all their armies wounded and los garrison.

the khuzaits have the best autocalc in the base game since so many of their units are mounted. You could have a mod changing autocalcing. Or your khuzaits are just unlucky repeatedly. The advantage isn't so overwhelming that they can't mess up and get subsequently over run.
