There are mods, now what?

The announcement said there are mods. What do they do? How do I enable them?

I see that there is a box next to the name of the mods when I start the game, but pressing them does nothing. How do I do this? Help plz!

There are already couple of mods there.

Hope the links are allowed. Most of them got instruction in the description on how to install them

You need to manually download mods from a site like Nexus and extract them in your Module directory [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Modules]. After this, you should be able to enable them from the launcher.

Some modules have different instructions which should be detailed on their download pages. I would suggest backing up any files that are replaced by mods that don't use the module system.
