Who ever ninja assassin is, he will never kill me, in the ruined castle, he came 10 meters from me, i had no arrows, just a bow, with the arrow he missed, i picked it up, and headshotted him with it.

Then i kept killing him every round with a headshot for 5 rounds, then village map came and he gave up !

Bring it on !

Edit: Larken, I can accept that it doesn't really count because I didn't get the message right, but isn't there any way I'll be able to collect on a bounty? I literally cannot take a screenshot in Warband. I tried a bunch of different things back when I was working on my submissions for the character contest, but none of them is really feasible in a gameplay situation. I couldn't even get FRAPS to work properly for some reason, and the program I ended up taking the screenshots with only worked when the game was running windowed. Can you suggest some method for taking captures, or a different way of getting proof, or do I really have to give up on this entirely?

Additional requirements: He has to be kicked or punched to death. When leaving the scene of the assassination, the bounty-hunter has to mutter "...goat."

Additional requirements: Killed via a 2 handed blunt weapon, and say Hai to him for me.

Description: He has long black hair, not a distinctive fellow.

Developments:

• There are now two contracts on CoR_Arch3r. Popular guy.
• I've decided that any requirements for you to change your username before killing a target may be ignored.
• After reviewing the evidence, Mephisto has been awarded the bounty on two of his contracts. He is now top of the hunter leaderboard!
• Please try and keep your requirements reasonable. I'm tempted to remove them all together, a naked throwing axe headshot is pretty tricky to pull off. A naked throwing axe kill not so much.

Whats the problem with them oKin, do they not save or can you not find them afterwards? I've been trying out a new capture software called "PlayClaw" that reduces my FPS when recording a lot less than Fraps, you could try that or going into your controls in Mount & Blade and changing the screenshot key to something else. If none of that works, I'd be willing to accept testimony from your victim that the contracts requirements were fulfilled in this circumstance.

Hm? Warband has a built-in screenshot feature now, with a bindable key? If so, then that should remove the problem entirely. I'm going to check.

With FRAPS, basically I installed it, set it to save as bmps (stupid trial limits) on my desktop, assigned a screenshot hot key... and it did nothing. I just couldn't get it to work. It showed me an FPS counter, but the screenshots were not happening. I ended up taking all these screenshots with this extremely dysfunctional program called Greenshot which, again, only worked when I had the game running in windowed mode. Not fun times. And all this because I don't have a prtscr key -- I wish I could figure out a way to just rebind that function to a different key or button.

Edit: oh, right, I think I might have actually seen this before. "Ctrl-Insert". I don't have an insert key, either (laptop), and it doesn't seem to be bindable.

I guess I could try playclaw, but it's a huge hassle having to run another program, even one that works, compared to just being able to hit one key. I either have to run it whenever I play Warband, or risk having this whole thing with Chuck happen all over again.

My mistake, I assumed Warband had a screenshot feature but it appears it doesn't. Kinda basic thing you'd expect to be implemented there...I've no idea how to get FRAPS working other than just faffing around with settings, keybinds and save directory to see if it'll work then. If it doesn't there is PlayClaw like I said although it only provides a 15 day free trial and GameCam which I've also tested and is decent for screenshots but not so great for video.

I guess he figured it's enough of a challenge anyway. Funny thing, though, I remember the past two times now I've met you in-game, it's been me running into you totally at random and planting an axe in your face without even a proper fight. We'll see if the third time's a charm.
