There was a guy called contradiction on the hlfallout forums who did that. He also happened to have the highest post count (12000) and was a fairly respected member of the forums. It was a real big scandal.

He had a couple of other accounts through which he would spam and generally be idiotic. He sure fooled me.

He got 12000 posts in about 4 months. Hlfallout is a really big forum, and he somehow found the time to answer just about every post. I never really thought his posts were that spammy as quite a few of them were interesting and intelligent responses. That's why everyone was so surprised when it had ben revealed that contradiction was also the irritating 12 year old n00b that kept on posting stupid Garry's mod pics and generally acting 12.
