Nothing

This time it was 'go.microsoft.com'. Seems to be different Microsoft sites.
But apparently I'm the only one getting this. A malware scan showed nothing.

No idea. But those rundll.32.exe are common. It's in windows/system32.

Not usually in that part of startup though. These items are user defined and aren't required by the system. So just disable anything you know you don't use. e.g. that top one.

That list on my machine only shows one item, and it's an item I want to be there.

Yes you can. :/
I've done it many times.

1) Open the run box and type control userpasswords2 then untick users must enter username and password to use this computer

That doesn't work for me since mulitple users use the computer. It automatically logs on to whoever logged in last, which is nonsensical.

Well I wasn't offering that advice for you. Adorno asked and I told him how. If you asked and specified your situation I may have told you different.

Just occurred to me that I'm not running windows 10 despite the reserve thing. Presumably this means Microsoft has deemed me unworthy. I'm guessing its easy enough to install oneself?

So is anyone else having trouble with getting the original Mount & Blade to run on Windows 10? And does anyone know how to fix it?

One of the more recent updates has been giving me BSODs randomly. The error messages are always different but they're not caused by anything obvious. I just went round the corner to buy some onions and when I came back it had restarted. I then went to cook the onions and it crashed again. Both times it was idling and no applications were running.

Look up how to make it not autorestart on failure, or check the event logs. Could just as easily be hardware failing as OS being broken.

Apparently it is the hardware failing. I keep getting memory errors like this:

Followed by an unrelated crash. Windows hardware checker thing says there's a memory hardware error. That makes sense.

My dad's convinced the memory cards themselves aren't broken though. He think's it's the motherboard or something, I have no idea why. He's just telling me to use workarounds like saving my work more often ( :dead: ) and uninstall third-party programmes.

If your memory is failing you're never going to get around it. Try different memory stick configurations, for example run one stick, try different slots. It's not likely that 2 sticks break at the same time, so if you have 2 you can probably run just one while you look for replacement. It could also be the memory slots.

The onions seem to have caused the problem so I wouldn't advice that, try buying carrots and see what happens.

Save yourself hours of "fun" if you encounter this issue:

Win10 suddenly decided that it didn't recognize my monitor and couldn't thus work anything higher than 640x480 resolution. I tried ****ing everything possible except reinstalling Win10 itself to fix it to no avail.

The fix? Unplug DisplayPort cable and replug it. Don't even need to turn anything off. Apparently a DP issue that can happen with Win10 going sleep mode or monitor going into power save mode and something getting jumbled.

It was working properly after I upgraded from Windows7 to Windows10.

Last week I did a clean install using the iso I got from Microsoft. Now everytime I turn the computer on, I'm presented with Bios screen and have to save it once to be able to continue booting. Do you think the battery might be dead? The clock is not wrong.

Has anyone else had the experience where Microsoft quit asking and unilaterally set up a date and time to install Windows 10?
