Right click on the taskbar, hover over search (or Cortana) and select the appropriate option.

Whoa, that worked. The icons look like they were being squeezed by a couple of pixels by the search bar, it seems. There's now a nice gap between the taskbar icons and the notification icons. Mi am Tenki.

The monitor is 1920 x 1080 so it's fairly standard.

If the icons on the taskbar are too small you could also double check what size you have them set to. Right click on taskbar > properties > checkbox for using small icons on taskbar.

That's not checked. Anyway I prefer them big  . Some of the icons are indistinguishable otherwise.

Opened my pc today and it won't connect to the Internet.
It say I am connected but can't do update nor use chrome nor edge.

Turn out it was my antivirus.
Removed it and all of a sudden i can connect to the internet again.

I can add that Windows 10 totally screwed my sounds for Warband, and the FPS was brutally executed too. The drivers are all up-to-date, and I have no idea how I can fix this. Changing the compatibility settings or running as administrator does not work either.

I love the Edge browser though; it's lightning fast, and the YouTube videos are all smooth even when I play on 4k at 60fps. That was only a dream in Chrome or Firefox.

Try going full screen. Or try reinstalling your NVIDIA driver. (going full screen in WB gets rid of the lag for me; but that doesn't work for other 3d games unfortunately which are already full screen)

I'm on full-screen by default, and my card is an AMD HD 8570M. It's been updated with a driver adapted specifically for my laptop, and it tells me it's up-to-date.

Have you tried three driver directly from AMD?

New problem now (yay!)
Had sound this morning but now there is absolutely no sound.
Speaker are fine.
The computer tell me everything is alright but no sound come out of speaker.

Edit: sound is back!

Whereas Windows 10 sounds positively amazing

Windows 10 is superior to 7 and 8 in every way.
It just has a few launch bugs but EVERY new OS launch had bugs.
