The white house censors science

You know, that pollution **** actually has a lot to do with Texas. Sure, Houston actually does boast the cleanest major-city air next to Baltimore, but astoundingly enough, all the clean air regulations put in place apperently don't apply to factories that are already established, or something, at least in Texas. Apperently there are tons of factories in Texas who are just filled with too many greedy assholes to change to cleaner, slightly more costly/less efficient methods. And you know that chances are there are some of these in most all other states, too. God damn, I hope we switch to hydrogen cars soon.

I hate Bush. Utterly.

Wait, i was thinking today, Bush is just a puppet, it's the people inside the white house who really control the US now.

.... It's the people inside the White House that really control the US now? People inside the White House... like the President (when he's there, at least). And, in the past, hasn't it almost always been the "people inside the White House" that control/heavily influence US policy???

Technically bush is the executor of the law in this country.  As much as I hate him for allowing so many things to happen, it is the Republican congress, those that actually make the laws, that really get to me.  I know that Bush is always pushing for conservative laws but it is our states' congressmen that are making them, and they are easier to reach with a letter, email, or in person than the president.

I think, however, that Congress generally follows the lead of President Bush.  In fact, because Congress is barely a Republican Majority and many of those republicans are somehat moderate, I think Congress has done more good for this country than Bush has, specifically during his term.  When Bush is frustrated with congress it means the system is working.

Or there are too many people who are unwilling to pay higher prices. If the public really wanted lower pollution, they wouldn't just whine about it or try to get Congress to fix it. They'd stop patronizing companies that don't switch to cleaner methods and pay the extra cost for those who do.

The people who care can't neccessarily afford it.  It's like with Walmart, I hate Walmart, but they have EVERYTHING, and it's so cheap.

Exactly. Feanaro gets it.

We are all guilty.
