Recruit
With battlesizer and a brand new graphics card, I just had a MASSIVE battle of 700 Pengwern vs 1100 Miercia. My game tweaks must have done something, because It didn't stop at my limit of 500, but the troops kept on coming in till I had over 1500 units on the battlefield.

It looked like Spartacus. Hahahahahah. I will get screenies for my next battle.

Lucky prick

Hell, I dunno. It could play Crysis on high def, and still lagged on sieges once the troop count got to 400 or so.

Edit: Theoretically, you can have as high a battle size as you want, if you modify the right file.

Tell me it was laggy or else.......!!

Feel free to besiege some of the new places/scenes with that battlesize and give feedback.
I can't test them like that with my mediocre machine

I now what you mean... *hug*

Almost every single siege gives me problems. About 200-300 men get trapped behind the stakes on the ground, and never participate in the battle.

Anyway, some screens, as promised

I'm guessing these are sieges on native scenes, since I don't use stakes.
I have removed the stakes in one native town (that's 6 towns in the mod).
Maybe I should do the same with others.
If you tell me the names of the town(s) that gave problems it would help, but no worries if you don't remember. I'll check it out anyway.

Also: awesome screens!

What mod is that?

btw, Gwent in Bryt should have roman troops, they were christain kingdom but they stuck to roman armour and tactics, they choose to be defensive rather then ambitious

Hey guys,

I don't know where to write this...so I am doin it here:

This mod is  A M A Z I N G !!!
I can't believe my eyes, what you made of this game. Not that you only adapted the historical time, with the units...
you modelled all  the villiages and towns.
Great great work.

Thank you so much for this....

Doc

Well, with polished landscapes the towns and villages look wonderful, and I too have been running my Brytenwalda with the Battle Sizer, and while I usually keep it at about 300-600 to avoid crippling lag, since the newest patch I can run it at 1000 and not crash. If I turn shadows on, it crashes at like 300 though, I personally don't care about shadows enough to keep my battle size lower, so I turn them off.

in this mod, if I have more than 50 players (even on the lowest setting possible) I lag like crazy. Usually I control my army from the minimap and literally have my character look away from the battle so my laptop doesn't freak out. Dunno why I lag so much, I play RTW, Medieval II, on pretty high settings and don't have any issue. Just Warband in general really lags for me.
