There I was, talking to the Arena Master having just emerged battered but victorious from another bout. When I thought to myself that it might be nice to have a break and watch someone else fight for a while.

Things were not going to well for the blue team. They had only one man left and three read horseman were advancing on him at quite a rate. Two were lancers and the last had a DH Sword. Poor old blue cowering beneath my balcony.. frankly his goose was cooked!

That's when it hit me... I was carrying my mace! So if I had a mace, did I also have??? <clicks swap weapons key> YES, My Crossbow! I was sure that the jusges would probably frown on intervention from the crowd, but afterall nobody had actually told me that it was against the rules.

So carefully lining up on the lead lancer as he galloped up, I let loose a little "bolt of evening up the odds.. +5"

What a shame that the devs were ahead of me and had anticipated my cunning plan. My bolts were nothing more than phantoms to those fighting in the arena below.

But it would have been glorious!

Ah well.

Someone made a post about it here, and puff, it diseapered in a puff of red smoke writing 'armagan was here'.

Apparently some people have even managed to get into the arena from the observation stands. apparently you're supposed to jump through and wait for it to do something funny but i've never managed it. All i get is a whole lot of shaking and eventually it stops and i find myself back where i started.

Yeah I've managed to get down there once, don't really know how I did it. You can still kill the horses, but only after their rider has been killed by one of the contestants.

Or you can hop out and just use yourself to block charges

You just kinda jump at the opening, and once u get stuck, just keep jumping and move different ways. Kind of tricky sometimes, and a little random, but it's possible.

I've tried, never made it through, did fire arrows at the combatants, no effect, was ejected and warned that I'd lose my season tickets. Go Celtics!

I jumped there and waited till one of horse riders get killed, then I stole his horse and went blocking enemies to corners!
