I've been wondering about that the entire time I was in Eindhoven. It makes me confused. I didn't try a coffeeshop though, maybe next time I'm in the country. I did try some delicious beer though.AWdeV 说:I too don't know why a coffeeshop is called a coffeeshop. You probably can't get coffee. A café is actually a bar in the alcomohol sense btw.
EDIT: OH, and if you DO try stuff in a coffeeshop don't go all-out and try everything at once. Drug-tourists killing themselves in a stupid stupor cause a lot of whining.

We put them in special camps.Tiberius Decimus Maximus 说:So exactly how much do people hate you if you visit another country without knowing the language? Like, I know people get really worked up about it here with all the illegal immigrants, but I wasn't sure how people were in Europe, particularly Italy.

Visiting a country is one thing, staying is another. In Sweden everyone will speak English with you, even if you try to speak Swedish. In Italy they don't care if you speak English but don't expect that they will understand you. In most countries it is acceptable to speak English, it's more where you come from that matters. Like in France they don't like Brits and Germans, but they do like Swedes. It's all about how you put it.Tiberius Decimus Maximus 说:So exactly how much do people hate you if you visit another country without knowing the language?
