Open The Trait i received doesnt work

I am level 26 but i have never been able to use the trait that i was assigned which is "Strong". No message popped up when i hit level 13 and when i hit the key that is binded to activate it on battle it does nothing. I can see the message pop up when the enemy lord uses warcry but all my key does is shield taunt and not give me any boosts. Ive played it before and it has worked on other playthroughs but this time is hasnt.

Could you share your rgl_log, rgl_config and you savegame so We can check what the problem might be?
