Aeon221
Sergeant at Arms

My name is Paolo Bariccia, and I've got one heck of a story to tell you. And the best part? It's all true. And not just true like "bards said it, it must be true," but "some guy without an imagination said it" true.
It was not long after I was made a Count, or perhaps the correct term is Counted? Who knows these things! Anyway, soon after King Graveth gave me a title and some burned over hellhole of a village, Talabor confided in me that Falsevor really boiled his buns. He never told me why, exactly, he hated Falsevor so much, but his daughter Geneiava was pretty good looking and he was a fairly important lord with Uxhall to his name, so I figured I'd rather help him than some nobody like Falsevor. Plus, Talabor was willing to pay me to call Falsevor names and humiliate him in duels, and that's always a big bonus in my book.
I started to wonder what was up after the third or fourth duel, but the money was good and Talabor's support had helped me gain the title to Jamiche Castle, so I never pressed him on it.
I was starting to get pretty settled, and figured I'd like a wife or two, so I asked Talabor to hand over Geneiava as a reward for all my faithful years of service. He was fine with it, on the condition that I take the final step and denounce Falsevor to the King. But when I spoke to the young lady, it turned out she was already seeing someone.
Turns out there's at least one weapon Falsevor isn't hilariously incompetent with.
I'm off to brain the son of a ***** one last time before I get him exiled. Ciao!
(NB: Count Falsevor is actually level 41, and one of the four strongest of the Rhodok lords!)
