I actually kind of think it is. In a rugged sort of way. But I love places like this in general.
Yup, real purty.

And yet if that were an ultra high-resolution city sim, I'd be overjoyed to build in that style.

Must be posted though.

Edit: And there we are. Thank you Temple Bar open wifi.

Just returned from Prague, also stopped by at Vienna and Dresden.
Prague's great if you have a good team...drink's super cheap.

I'd avoid Vienna or Dresden next time, though.

Well of course you have to take my Balkan mentality into account here. I don't really understand most of the towns I went into(Paris, London, Munich, Vienna and so forth) because they're so big.

I didn't like Vienna because it felt so plastic, everything was concrete and glass and then some more concrete. The town center was full of some baroque or secession buildings which is nice...to look at. Nothing I could really do with it. In Prague the feeling was less so(in the center) at least, but the town impression was fixed when I saw the Vodka prices

You've mentioned cheap liquor twice. Your priorities when travelling are settled  :iamamoron:

As far as I got it, people there and in other big big towns live in weird suburbs trying to be villages and then travel to their work/school for hours. Maybe that's why they need drink to be so cheap...

Anyway I prefer towns like Canterbury, that one was good. From 50 000-150 000 people is the maximum for me.

Now you said something of importance. Big cities only try to be like villages, but since they're cities and not, you know, villages, they fail horribly at it which leads to urban depression and crime and multiculturalism.

Well it's the first 'big' city I'd be living in on my own, since the city I live in now has something like 100 000 population.

When I first visited Vienna, it was kinda letdown. Not because it is big, but because it feels like a grey concrete jungle with very little green and cars everywhere. There are very nice buildings, Ringstrasse is alright, since there are trees, so is the palace and so on, but, well - for me, it is nice as far as individual buildings go, but as a city it kinda failed to stand up to my expectations.

Exactly what I meant, yeah.
Unfortunately I didn't stop by at Salzburg, I have a feeling that might've been better.
