Bilgesi's food review
100% accurate. British food is underwhelming at best. My family has always eaten fairly international cuisine with a heavy emphasis on French/Italian influence.

But then again, we're as middle class as you can get. God knows what the proles eat.

Outside of restsurants and takeaways, british cuisine is mostly just variations on the sunday roast and the occasional pie or sausage. Also just about everyone I know has pasta as a secondary staple.

The Italians won WW2 after all. Their surrenders were just a way to infiltrate Britain and infect it from the inside.

I'd rather snort a line of cinnamon than eat British food again. At least the cinnamon would be memorable.

4. May I'm touring through the Baltic countries, namely the capitals: Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn.

Anything I shouldn't miss? Not much planned, but I'm definitely going to see the Trakai castle. Looks awesome!

Trakai is an obvious must. Iirc there's also a restaurant/pub there run by Lipka Tatars serving (alleged) Tatar food and some extra punchy Tatar kvass. There's a KGB museum in Vilnius, nvr forget, no such thing as a good communist. I mean, unless you can turn them into a bizarro theme park, then they're hilarious. Fun fact: did you know Lithuanians are almost as aggressively Catholic as Polaks? If you're still feeling odl-timey there's an ethnographic open-air museum in Rumsiskes

Other than that, obviously have some kvass and zepelinai. Antagonizing the locals by trying to speak to them in Russian is also fun.

Regarding Latvia, there's a whole lot of castles and castle ruins in Latvia because German military orders. I remember Sigulda specifically, but maybe it was the trip and the people and there are more impressive ones. I don't know the country as well as Lithuania.

Estonia...dunno, Talinn and Tartu are classics. Other than that pretend it's Finland, but cheaper?

Thanks. Interesting.

What the hell is this? Literally a Communist Zoo

The zebras and camels are there for people to pet and calm down after seeing all those animals.

It's pretty fun and for those of us who actually lived with those vomits of sculptures around, also cathartic to see them fenced and reduced to tourist kitch for ez capitalist bucks.

Ukrainian Zakarpattia was incredibly beautiful. Would recommend to everyone.
