I support the idea that the best weapon to be invented is simply a baseball bat perfected.  Perfected by putting something pointy and hard at the end.  What more do you need?

I'd like to point out the fallacies in your argument(s) can be defeated by one fact:

My weapon is a stick, and has a spike on it. The sheer genius behind it is astounding to you mortals, as you have not tasted the awesomeness of it.

In short:
Join a server.
JOIN RHODOKS (if you can't just spam polls as EVERYONE LOVES THE SPIKED STAFF AND TOTALLY WILL UNDERSTAND.)
BUY THE KETTLE HAT.
Buy that armor that is green (IT MIGHT BE MAIL.)
LEATHER BOOTS.
NO GLOVES.

Basically, it was a cheaper and better bastard sword

New, The big bearded axe. It has THE "Axe" effect. But don't believe my word ask this from one of the many satisfied costumers.

Nords footman: I Used to take ages to cleave through a measly shield and by then the victim has already died of boredom. But with the Big bearded axe I don't have that problem anymore. My victims now lay happily and dead in half on the field. Just look at the fear in their dead eyes!


Warning: Exposure to the big bearded axe may cause side effects like being struck by lightning, Have radiation effect from the awesomeness and a tired arms.

This is NOT a which weapon is the best, AS I CLEARLY HAVE SHOWN that the spiked staff is the greatest piece of weaponry ever devised.
