What do we do after we are stopped and dropped? Yes, we roll!

I see alot of good men die by the blade as they are falling off their horse or immediately before they try to lift theirselves up off the ground.

If something like rolling in a direction of choice, while trying to get up, was implemented i think this deadly situation would be solved. Even blocking or raising the shield while on the ground would make good use of short time before getting up from a fall.

Anyone else agree?

What is more exciting? getting knocked off your horse and killed before getting up? Or being able to roll away before an axe is chopped down on your head?

This wont stop people from getting killed mid flight off your horse... but it gives you that second chance if you do happen to survive the fall.

For example... look at my avatar. He looks vulnerable i know because he is in the nude... but would that stop him from rolling to the side before getting up and ready to attack again?

Its nothing big to worry about. People won't say, maybe you will but people won't say, "Mount&Blade sucks cause there is no roll button" Its fine how it is.

You wouldn't be able to move quickly/roll with all that equipment on you anyways. Let alone having the horse's corpse being on you.

Agreed, it are very weird cases if I get killed because I couldnt roll.
