The Pope

Sergeant Knight
Right now, most of the factions have an established look. Nords are vikings, Swadians are knights, Khergits are steppe nomads and Vaegirs are eastern european. The Rhodoks don't.

How about technologically updated classical? For example, steel Corinthian (SPARTAAAAAAAAA) helmets, lorica segmentata and the like. Legionaries, phalangites, crossbowmen and peltasts would make up a nice, well rounded unit setup. The classical period has a very distinctive look which would add a lot to Mount & Blade, and it's entirely feasible that an army from that time could work on a medieval battlefield.

They would, at that.  The barbute is essentially a modified corinthian helm, while the segmentata is very similar to lamellar.  They're already big on spearmen, I don't see why they couldn't run with steel classical gear.

Sure, it adds to a lot of battlefield diversity.
