LEts say you just finished a huge battle, there are many dead bodies, both of your enemy party and yours. thre are even more knocked down and needs healing. so why take the long way to a town for it. on a long journey it is natural to camp sometimes. this can highten party moral, and you can launch sneek attacks on enemies. when u do this u can see tents and a fire and pherhaps your enemies stand/sit n talk, right before your party charge them and they hear the ground shake before you decide their swift doom...

now that would be great! see your enemy grab for their weapons in a desperate try in saving their lives. this of course would need a big army whit many horsemen. a small party will give you the option of sneak attacks or horse theft. I dont know if its been suggested but I havent found another post about it. (Not that Ive searched too much tough)

And what about the possibility of decapetaiting, (I dont know how to spell that word, but I mean the possibility to chop enemies head off). and weapon info. like the butchering knife "usually used to cut meat, but kan also be used to chop off hands, fingers and toes" or something like that...

The main reason why I'd leg it to a town is becuase its safe there.

Towns aren't usually that far away, I'd rather try to run rather then sit there and watch as a group of swadian crossbowmen come out of nowhere and maim me.

The only thing I can think when implementing camps, is to implement a kind of tiredness into your army, if they don't rest everyday, they get tired, and can't fight well. Therefore that makes camps a necessity.

I do not want too much gore, but maybe there should be an option for gore and also let the odders increase the gore level to their hearts disgust. I can see trophy taking if you are insane or barbarian person of strong enemies and leaders, but not normals.

And there is something else: even thou its possible to do this in the game I would say its quite stupid of a King/Count to let a huge party of Vaegir knights and other enemies of the Swadian people in to their town and let em rest there. so if you are on a mission up there it would be better to set up a camp. But it should be a camp skill that makes your camp difficult to spot (camoflage) and to set up camp faster (routine). if you are attacked you wont be completely defensless, just suprised and off guard making it harder to resist.

I believe there are such things as scout and camp guards so not everyone would got to sleep immediately.

Of course the bigger the party it would be more difficult to conceal it but they could fortify better build some basic palisade of stakes.

And yes, MORE BLOOD, MORE BLOOD.

Possibility to lose arm or a leg would be cool, your character could be scared veteran without a leg tide to his horse.

All I need is some rolling heads, and watch them roll down a hill along with broken shields. =====
I oppose the idea of new "camp" skill. Firstly, skill points are scarce, don't think people would forgo combat abilities, valuable soldiers or better trading skill for setting up cozy tents which are hard to be spotted, plus even an amateur of camping can set up a tent in 2~3 hours, don't think spending skill points on camping to shorten set up time is a good idea. Also, it is impossible to make camps less visible, as your men have to set camp fires in order to dry their clothes, stay warm and cook meals (i.e. roasted horse with carrots  ). Bear in mind that the wilderness become pitch black after sunset, and human can detect light up to 80km (if memory serves...) in complete darkness, making camps impossible to avoid detection.

As long as the gore has that on/off buttun or a slider and doesn't interfere with the rest of the production of the game. I'm cool. And maybe have decapitated limbs as one button and blood and gore as another?

the blood that is in the game now is not very good. a small blood splash and thats it. if you could see wounds and blood pumping out of the main arterie (tell me if something is spelled wrong) after the enemy lost his head would make the game more real. (for those who dont like blood n gore they could make the on/off button, but remember: then you will lose some of the gaming experience)

Let the heads roll!!!!
