The Battle of Pendraic in 1077, infamously also known as the "Neretzes Folly", i tried to document the battle in a form of a mosaic, how i think Calradic artists would have done it, telling the story of what we know happened there, mostly from storytelling.
The belligerents were: The Empire, Khuzaits and Aserai on one side VS Battania, Sturgia and Vlandians on the other.
We know that Emperor Neretzes knowingly led his vanguard into the forest where he was ambushed by the Battanians, he suffered many casualties as well as losing his own life, while Garios managed to escape and hide in the forest with a couple of the soldiers.
The Sturgians later assaulted the imperial camp slain many soldiers, but losing their leader Prince Vadinslav (Raganvad`s father). Lucon and Arenicos were there, barely saving their lives by escaping with a force of emperor`s guardsmen.
The Vlandian cavalry swiped the Khuzait horse archers and Aserai skirmishers from the face of earth, but the Vlandians believe the war was a lost chance to invade Empire`s territory, and just presented many casualties to both sides
