Anyone notice how expensive, heavy and strong the Pelt Coat is in the game?

I saw one cost 16000 moneys, weigh 27 pounds, and only give 9+ armor.

Hah I mentioned this earlier in another thread. It has the same armour value and price as heavy armours in the game. It rivals coat of plates, lamellar armour, plate armour etc. I already found the solution, the new twist of Warband is that it’s gone fantasy and the seemingly simple pelt coat is lined with dragon scales.

Speaking of scales, how sexy are scale gauntlets and regular gauntlets now? (1.105)

Edit: latest patch fixed them I liked my uber-awesome pelt coat . A thick pelt coat now has 11 amor

I was wondering the same thing about the madness of the pelt coat.  Bizarre...like the thick skin of some creepy mountain hermit.  Reminds me of the bridge keeper in Monty Python. "What is your quest!?" etc. etc...

The new glove models are excellent btw.
