The Peloponnesian War - Screenshots

A few days after the conquest of Vetluna and the appointment of my most fit companions to positions of governance.

My vassals give me The Finger and tell me to suck an egg when I suggest a preemptive strike against the Latins. I hastily raise a force of 120 levy soldiers and travel down to Rome on my own. We massacre a Gallic warband for supplies.

I'm forced to flee North when Rome organizes the Latin League's armies and marches on Vetluna. I lure a stray lord to my forces and defeat him soundly with the help from my vassal's hoplites.

More armies arrive, but my other two vassals are finally persuaded to join me outside the walls and we fight for three days straight.

The hoplites and spearmen definitely held the Latins off, but it was this group of slaves, levy freemen, and a single Delian marine that defeated the campaign. I sent them ahead to waste the enemy's javelins in every battle, and they performed admirably while getting some kills of their own. When the enemy spearmen broke ranks and charged, I used them to lure large portions of the enemy's line away. When I positioned them far ahead of our infantry and realized my mistake as the Latin cavalry came charging in, they crippled their horses, and the Delian marine killed countless horsemen with shots to the head and his blade. Too bad my own worthless javelin throwers get massacred all the time.

You need to finish it.

"BRAVERY
Is when you have your troops charge, while you stay far away"

Hahahaha

Lol, well its all my Spartans vs that 1 Delian archer who is just standing there ready to die... bravery.

Celts made -heavy- use of tattoos, I wouldn't be surprised if every single Celtic man, and probably woman as well, was covered in tattoos.

Tattoos themselves have been around for at least 6 thousand years.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/a/a6/Scythian_tatoo.jpg This is the actual right arm of a Scythian, tattooed all to hell, so even non-Celts were tattooing by this point.

After a long voyage, a lone Greek man by the name of Andromache, arrived in Sparta...

and became a warrior...

all would fall before him. Unless he is mobbed by more then 3 foes.

Battle would be his addiction...

the push of the shield...

His forces grew in size...

Hey nice shots.
Ehmmm....i dont want to spoil it but i have to say that ''Andromache'' is a greek female name
Maybe Andromachos would be more suitable.

He's a very confused man.
Thanks

(char was originally a female, but I changed to a guy after a while..just stuck with the name)

You do realize that you couldn't just "go" to Sparta and become a warrior, right? Those guys were trained from 5-6 years old until the day they died, and if they were weak as babies....well...let's not go further
