This is what Docm had to say about Diplomacy.

Not sure if I'll include Diplomacy or not. If not, I'll at least code some improvements to the diplomacy myself. Running a faction is really not what the mod is about presently.

I'm interested in genetics and have done DNA tests. In doing so it's proven to me that heritage means nothing and nationality means nothing, everyone is mixed beyond what you could imagine, humans have been moving around the earth since the beginning, not just in the last century, if someone says for example that they're French and British it doesn't mean anything because even someone who thinks they're pure British will have significant DNA from all over Europe and even some from out of Europe. The most anyone can claim is that they're mostly western European or mostly Asian etc. So it does kind of frustrate me when someone starts listing off their ancestors nationalities as if it means anything, yes your great grandfather might have been Swedish but he was probably a mix of Norwegian and German and Finnish too, so it means nothing. Just say you're European/African/Asian etc.
