Well I suppose I'm tell everyone ao=bout my epic win, in taking out 400 or 500 DK's out in a siege defense by myself lol...I was in Veluca, and I thought....****. So I ran like hell when it started, jumped onto a roof, and hid at the back so I couldn't be shot. Then they all ran to me and did war cries for the next half an hour under the roof while I shot at them. Yay me.
haha try doing same work but don't let them take walls ;p i always have a bunch of 'meatshieldmen' and other not fully ungraded troops, mostly crusader knights, party size 350 max now and i think that i would successfully defend any castle in battle me vs 1k dark knights, but i need forge ;p with ofc these meat menand not top tier troops, my companions are doing best job, achilles+alyssa+kelemvor at the ladder and its like 'you shall not pass!' my meatshield currently are minor councilmen, idk why i recruited them
I know the games a lot easier if you recruit from multiple nations, to make a good mix of troops, but despite this, I only take mercs and Nords, idk why....I also have very few archers, which probably is one of the reasons I have trouble. But it makes it so much more challenging too. Back in vanilla Warband, I could have an army of around 150 huskys, and they'd take out any army without losing a single guy...I enjoy the challenge this mod gives though.
they didn't died because you couldn't meet 150 swadian knights or 150 rhodok sharpshooters ;p try taking almerra castle owned by rhodoks with garrison of 200+ rhodoks, not in NE ofc, try your vanilla 'husky' army

Been playing "Din's Curse" for a short while now. A fairly solid indie game. Some improvements over it's predecessor: "Depth of Peril" if anyone ever played that one, but also a huge part of gameplay has been removed which was the whole covenant game style and diplomacy between the guilds. The major improvement is adding multiplayer to the series.
So yeah, if anyone enjoys hack and slash gameplay with a fever for item-hunting with a sort of roleplaying style, I recommend this game.
