The official trailer for Custom Settlements 0.675

Title says it all. Yes, i used the search function, and i know there's already a trailer made by Dragnguard77, but it doesn't really give enough information to the ones who watch it and haven't played the mod.

It should show the upgrades of the settlements, resources, naming heroes lords and every bonus feature it brings! If we won't have one now then maybe the next version or when it's completed.

So, what do you say?

sounds like a great idea. A trailer will make people interested in this mod, and its people we need to get enugh scene makers to make the development of the mod as quick as possible.


besides, trailers are cool anyway.

Just make sure at the end to put a message saying 'If you get an RGL error about customsettlements.brf, DOWNLOAD THE OSP'.  .

But yeah, I think now that the mod is nearing the final versions it would be a good idea to start some advertising.

I could do it! I'm pretty good at making videos with sony vegas, though i'm not good at picking the right music. If you all want me to do it i'll start as soon as the next version comes out.

Erm, hi.

I'm kind of a leecher when it comes to forum posting but I thought I really should reply to this.

If no one else want's to do it, I might be willing to do a trailer of sorts for this mod. It's been a week since I installed this mod but all the time I spent playing with it was amazing (feels like being small again and playing with Lego bricks <3).

My hobby for the past 4 years has been machinima. I mostly did some WoW machinima but I'm looking for a new source to use for new projects. M&B is a quite interesting game to film and I'm ready to try it out more seriously. So if the mod developers agree I'd try doing something next month (got crap loads of exams till the end of this month).

If you need a display of my skill I can supply you with some links to my works.

I think what you should do is just have a full install and a patch, the FI includes the OSP, while the patch doesn't. That way people will most likely always download the full version (with OSP) to begin with and the people who already have the proper install can just download the smaller patches.

Since there's probably gonna be some time until 0.7 comes out, i decided to start filming for the trailer right now. Expect to see a link for the video until tomorrow. And no worries, i'll make another one for 0.7, and probably all later versions which include major changes. I'll try to make them fitting for a mod like this, i promise.
