1st Grenadier Regiment of the Imperial Guard of the Imperial French Army​

This is the official recruitment thread for "les Grenadiers de la Garde Imperiale", an incredibly famous and elite regiment. Founded in 1800 as the Consular Guard, and then fighting throughout the world in Napoleon's campaigns until dissolved after its only defeat at Waterloo (1815), les Grognards are back... We will be the most elite foot regiment in the newly reformed Imperial French Army. This is an MM mod clan only, not although members are free to fight together in other mods. We will be a friendly and somewhat relaxed clan with quite a bit of training. We will do regular online play as well as events. We are the latest incarnation of the Old Guard and we will not fail in battle. As an elite regiment we will never surrender.

                             

We are the 1st Grenadier Regiment of the Imperial Guard, probably the most famous regiment in the French Army. Every man was required to have fought in several campaigns under Napoleon and have a moustache. We do not require prior experience but we do require moustaches.​

Rules:
1) We are a regiment with a good name from our previous incarnations - respect this  by not surrendering, trolling, spamming or any other behaviour that might be considered offensive. If you do not respect this we will kick you from the regiment.
2) In battle you will obey your superiors to the greatest extent possible. People who disobey orders constantly will be reprimanded.
3) You will have an account on both the new French Imperial Army Forum (http://ifa.enjin.com/home) and on this one.
4) You will have TeamSpeak - details on the recruitment page - so as to be able to communicate in battle or even just for chatting.
5) You will not take this too seriously: do not call other players "Sir" and you will try to have fun. But only if you are determined to. Seriously. I mean if you want to be miserable go ahead...
6) YOU WILL NOT SURRENDER. Yeah. That's right. Never. Yeah. Seriously
