I never tried this character type before today and I'm having a blast with it. I hire two peasants or watchmen or pick up a stray farmer and go pirate hunting I whack them senseless with my staff and sell them to the slaver so that they can think about their sinful evil ways (I think of them as potential converts, I think the slaver is wicked too so I preach to him as I sell those wayward souls to the galleys.) As I continue with this monk I will only use a staff and wear robes but if I find boots I wear them because I won't be riding any horses. I won't be going into the tournament but I found the trainer very useful and I won't be doing any merchant runs because that is not my calling. I will simply wander the land helping the faithful and smiting the wicked. This could be fun for a new player but you need to practice with the trainer to learn how to relax and get good at staff fighting because slaves are worth good money.

Hehe, after I went up a couple of levels the pirates got really fast and I couldn't knock them out at all before I got swarmed. I'll put this one in storage and try a merchant next.

I wonder if that would be cool... If the different class choices one day gave you special class-specific skills and different goals in the game...

Well, the church wasn't exactly the happy-go-luckiest uncorruptest goody-two-shoe foundation in those days.

All you need is a two-by-four and a hockeymask. Put the mask on, grip the two-by-four and go to the gamestore. It all comes to you naturally at that point.

Uh...

wow.

Make sure to PM me the next time you guys decide to rob a video game store with a 2x4. I wanna watch.
