Need More Info The new beta wiped some of my saved games

Summary:i played on the e1.8.0 with my e1.7.1 character and it worked fine but when i started a new campaign on e1.8.0 after playing for awhile i noticed my recent saves for my e1.7.1 character were gone and now ive lost months of progress on that character

if you played the previously 1.7.1 savegame on 1.8, it should be 1.8 now no?

Changing beta versions of the game does not affect your save file. IF the save files were only autosaves, the game might have overwritten them with the latest playthrough. Could you check how many save files are in the directory?
C:\Users\username\Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Game Saves

This or something like this happened to me twice. first I thought it was me. but today when I went back to a newly started game on 1.8.1 my play was set back to when I started . but in my family list I had my brothers and sister. no husband and no children. she was back to 24 years old.
I have another game going and it seems as only one allowed now or game gets strange.
I use no mods at all.
