Hmmm a previous thread spawned a little idea in my head. The voices worked on it night and day and for once all agreed on something. Diverse conversations. Conversations should be more versatile, and the higher your charisma the higher chance that you can sweettalk the enemy, peasant whatever. If you have a low charisma you can end up not being very influential. Intelligence - Low intelligence restricts the options of speech that you have: Someone with high intelligence may end up saying "Why, your establishment looks incredibly... interesting ", while someone with lower intelligence, and therefore lower language skills, will appear more uncouth maybe by saying something like "Wow who owns that ****house? I'm glad I don't live there!"

What do you guys think?

I was just about to suggest this. I'd like to have loads of different options on what i can say, so when the river pirate says hand over your money or you die, i can say,

No, you die *****

Maybe we could agree on something, how about half

or,

Ok, ok just don't kill me!

It sounds good to me. Would'nt it be so awesome if you had minimuim intelligence and charisma and could spit on the vaegir king? That would make my day. In fact, I'm going to go spit on someone with a v in their name right now.

Actually, I havnt ever played fallout  as i said, the voices did it for me lol.
I don't think however, the idea is to HAVE a low intelligence to the point where you could spit on people. Although that would be something to look forward to. If you could, the vaegir/swadian king probably woudnt bother calling guards! They all probably live in the same barred dungeon template he does, standing in the same spot 24 hours a day, lit only by torches aof which they cant get out.

Bard's Tale.

Heard of it. Never played it.

Read about the system in there for talking w/ NPC's...

You have the "Good" response and the "Bad" response. The "Nice Guy" approach or the "Bad Guy" approach.

2 Responses, instead of 1, would be better in some situations. Such as river pirates

But they're so easy to kill...

*hits his forehead* SHUT UP! NOW!

Compfreak's voices haves a conversation with selves. They decides that this is too hard to implement. They does agrees that if it is implemented, this is very cool. Now ponders the question of 'if a schitzophrenic threatens suicide, is it a hostage situation?' LET GO OF THAT GUN NOW!
