What are the most in deptt, most realistic games you have played?

My top 3 list:

BioShock - Most in depth game.

F.E.A.R

Half-Life 2 - You can actually shoot the seagulls from the bridge

And some other I dont remember

THOSE are the most in-depth games you guys have played?! Wow. I'd say either Morrowind or Jagged Alliance 2. Brigade E5 was pretty deep too. I know I've played deeper games though, those are just fairly recent.

edit: Ah, the Dominions series.

Realistic - I'd say Op Flash.

In depth - as in deep, confusing and intriguing, I'd say XIII. That had me guessing.

Dominions=Just tell them what to do before battle and buil ****
Morrowind=millions of the most boring quests you can think of
Jagged Alliance 2=boring
Brigade E5=one of the crappiest games made

You're a judgemental ******* with famously bad taste?

You may feel different about JA2 but prove me wrong about Morrowind, Brigade and Dominions.

I don't really disagree about E5, having never played it, but Morrowind was kinda fun. Not as great as some people make it out to be. It was a good time-sink. Dominions, however, is a work of mother****ing art. Just because you don't directly control the battles doesn't mean it isn't good.

Dunno about realism but I felt that Planescape: Torment was pretty deep.

I think Brigade E5 is absolutely brilliant. None of that stupid, "Oh no, I'm out of action points! Whatever shall I do?!" tripe. It's a well thought out Real-Time-Tactical combat game that allows you to pause. It's a bit buggy, and doesn't look amazing, but it's not too bad in either respect.

Its sequel "7.62" is going to be awesome though. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. isn't a deep game at all. It's just like any other shooter.

For depth, Dwarf Fortress, Morrowind,

other catagory: Half-Life 2, Stonghold, X3 isn't bad either, Mount&Blade

For realism, Red orchestra.

In terms of realism, SWAT 4 & Silent Hunter.

Deep, depends on what you mean by deep. Complexity? Plotline? Immersion? Philosophy?

I usually don't play "deep games" or something like that... I found depth in Medieval Total War. Played it for ages
