THOSE are the most in-depth games you guys have played?! Wow. I'd say either Morrowind or Jagged Alliance 2. Brigade E5 was pretty deep too. I know I've played deeper games though, those are just fairly recent.

I don't really disagree about E5, having never played it, but Morrowind was kinda fun. Not as great as some people make it out to be. It was a good time-sink. Dominions, however, is a work of mother****ing art. Just because you don't directly control the battles doesn't mean it isn't good.
I think Brigade E5 is absolutely brilliant. None of that stupid, "Oh no, I'm out of action points! Whatever shall I do?!" tripe. It's a well thought out Real-Time-Tactical combat game that allows you to pause. It's a bit buggy, and doesn't look amazing, but it's not too bad in either respect.
