The most important thing to be fixed for the next version

Enemy reinforcements spawning on the border-of-sandbox-mountains and not coming down.

As you know, all battlefields are fenced with steep mountains and the enemy reinforcements spawn on them. What I have a problem with is that they don't come down. They try to climb the mountain up and I have to get off my horse and climb there myself to kill them, as the rest of my party is on horses and can't reach them. This is a nuicanse, and mostly just slows down the fight.

However, another thing is that when you're fighting some badass ranged troops such as swadian crossbowmen or sea raiders. Last night I got many of my best troops killed because they couldn't do anything against the 7 sea raiders standing out of reach on the 85 degree steep hill throwing their axes. So I got my ass kicked? So what, stop *****ing you ****.

I wouldn't complain if I lost because of my own stupidity/the enemy outsmarted me/simply played better. But this thing is just not fair and thus, not fun.

What I suggest is that in the next version, like in the 0.6 versions, enemy reinforcements would spawn on the root of the mountains, rather than the top of them.

Nahkurin orsilla tavataan.

Why don´t you simply order your men to dismount in that situation?
It hasn´t happened to me that often though, and whenever it does happen and I don´t want to risk dismounting my mounted men I just run to the other side of the map with all my men and the enemies will eventually follow once I´m out of reach for their ranged weapons.

I really don´t think that this is such a huge problem with the current AI as it doesn´t recognize that they have a superior position on the steep hill against my cavalry and thus can easily be lured away.

... or worse, yourself spawning on the edge of a cliff and falling down as soon as you move. Happened to me today.

I noticed that these border slopes are responsible for heavy mounted troops being killed by inferior footmen, who can reach knight's head easily when standing on the slope, but the mounted guy cannot reach them.

I hope this solution is a temporary workaround only.

Because even if on foot, they move very slowly upwards a ridiculously steep hill.

And yes, I am aware that you can order your men elsewhere and you can lure the enemies out of there. It's still a nuisance and requires worthless running around the map. Or are you suggesting that this shouldn't be fixed? I doubt that it requires much to make the enemies spawn on the bottom of the hills.

Probably a known bug, but I support this one's nomination as "most annoying bug in 0.711".

I didn´t mean that it shouldn´t be fixed at all, but I just think it isn´t really THE most important thing to be fixed soon as it isn´t too hard to get around that problem especially now that AI cavalry troops learned to dismount when faced with enemie infantry on a too steep hill.
