I agree. Mods are important for the world's technological advancement. I mean, how will we get men to Mars? Adding models to the game. How will we solve the world fuel crisis? Creating a texture pack. Starvation and drought? Better make some more quests.
Therefore, DaBlade, Ancientwanker and Ursca all hate the future generations and should be excecuted.

Off topic:
In dark ages of world people were searching for quest to add this on pacman, one man did it. He called it Windows. Unfortunately pacman's developers said that this quest is to big and dangerous and he need to stop it. He didn't. Now we have many episodes of this game.

Pix of mod looks very nice. I don't know who made those all things (dunno still after read 10 pages of this ****-talk) but all of you did great work.

Say, for example, i made a font pack, and I DO credit every single person in the font pack that made the fonts. Now, say, Billy here, makes an operating system, called Billydows.  He includes my font pack in the operating system. He would only need to say "TTSEC's font pack", and won't need to name every person that maed every font in the font pack, because I already listed them in the fontpack itself.

I assume you listed them into a readme file, which means that Billy should include that readme into his operating system. That way everyone would get credited and no super important technology advancement would be hampered by any petty moaners wanting recogniziton over something they have worked hard on.

I once saw some staples made in the former Soviet Russia. They we're awful, hardly any of them were useful. Workers didn't care about the quality because they wouldn't have gotten any more recognisiton or money even if they had done their work properly.

Maybe one day you will all learn that distributing free software is for helping others not for helping yourself.  Anything you get in return, such as recognition, should be expected only as an extra bonus, not as necessary. If you are doing it for your own prideful reasons, then you are doing it for the wrong reasons, and you need serious character restructuring.

Do you know what happens when modders stop getting credit, what ever their motivation? They stop modding. I'm not talking about compilers, I'm talking about the hardcore, planned and created, hours on end to get it just right, modders. People like, I don't know, Dablade, Highelf, Ursca, Ancientwanker to name a few. What? do those name sound familiar?

These modders are the ones keeping this game alive. The ones who work for hours, days, to remove the games flaws, perfect the games features and create new ones. These are the guys giving this game a future and all they ask for is recognition. The cheapest price anyone could pay.

So when they stop working, migrating to a community that isn't too ungrateful to give simple courtesy. We'll be asking who was hampering who.

These courtesy's is what this forum and our modding community is based upon. Whether you agree with it or not, whether you like it or not, is none of my or anyone elses concern, and frankly I dont care. If you are going to be active in this community in any shape or form I ask you to follow these simple courtesy's, indulge us, no matter what your position on the matter is, or leave because otherwise we don't want you here.

Too bad I don't decide what stores put on their shelves. Who do you think designs the things that the Chinese make that are then imported to America? If we didn't design stuff for the Chinese to manufacture they'd just produce forks with 8 prongs, multicoloured, and made out of tin; etc.

Also, it wasn't stolen, because you put it for free download. It can only be stolen if it wasn't free to begin with.

Pride? More like respect. By using other people's work and not crediting them you aren't giving them the recognition they deserve.

Free download? That doesn't free to distribute by other parties. If you distribute something against the author's wishes then it is stealing, no matter whether it is free or not. It doesn't matter whether you think it is fair that they don't share, the fact is they created the work and you should respect their wishes.
