The Map of Caladria for me, is Always some sort of Yellow.

For some reason, ALMOST everything has the wrong color, Spears are purple, swords look Yellow and Purple, and I also had a friend who plays M&B, so I showed him my army, but he said "Your map looks like its been hit by a Nuclear Bomb" Mine actually does. My friends map is always the right colors, green when its supposed to be, and snowy when its supposed to be. Also my friend does not have ANY mods at all. I'm tired of running around Swadia under Orange Soil, while my friend's is normal appropriate colors. What happend wrong with this?

I remember this of computers of school, I thought the problem was the graphics card, wich wasn't good enough for the settings.

And the graphics card? Not that I have much hope it is not good enough for M&B.
If your settings are set high enough, maybe installing new drivers for your graphics card, or redownloading M&B could help.

But according to this thread the problem is your graphicscard, it is not suited for gaming. More for office and browsing.
I reccommend you buy a better graphicscard, that should solve the problem.

Hm.
That is fairly weird, I can play other games that have 10x graphics than Mount and Blade at Ultra High options without any lag.
And yet I can't handle this?

That indeed seems strange, do you have another graphic card installed? If yes, maybe M&B uses the wrong card.
If not, try redownloading and installing, you never know if it works...

I've had this same issue on my XP computer, But my vista seems to run the game just fine, For the longest time i thought it was my graphics card on the Because my vista is like EPICALLY better then my XP...
But i decided I'd check these forums to see if maybe i could fix it...
And Tada, This thread fixed my problem too...
You're map looks exactly like mine did.
All i did was change to direct x7, and forced single threading.
Now it works great!
