On a more comfortable topic, an odd question: There are a lot of huge projects similar to TLD. Do you fellows talk much with devs of those other large LotR projects, such as MERP&Blade?
Usually these LOTR mods have different things they want to do and usually the serious ones have serious researchers, artists and coders. So there isn't much need for like sharing knowledge and stuff.
Amazing that there are so many skilled people to go around, though . Usually, it's more the case to have one person doing everything, with a number of mods (I heard Counter-Strike was also like that...). Tolkien is more impressive than I imagined.
But a lot of the fellowship had other important roles in the war, Faramir with his rangers etc..
Edit: Wait are you saying that the fellowship will not be included, but there still may be characters in the game that were in the fellowship too, just on their own? I've no idea if that makes sense but hopefully you know what I'm saying
depends on the day and the star alienation i generate a name like europe1200: Robert Highmount, Phillipe Rivier... etc etc--
or TLD 2.4: just copy or modify a name in the books.
With the Rogan guys, it does seem like they look very similar. Might just be because they all have blond hair and similar clothes--which does make people look alike. Maybe the faces need slightly more variation, fior all I know... don't know how it works for modding, getting those faces different.
will boromir be in the mod? Not for fellowship reasons but more because it would be weird to have the younger son but not the old son in the game? PS: i know lord of the rings only from the movies and the total war mod. So don't go kicking my ass if i'm wrong ^^
