At level 27 with 72 troops, I have -72 morale. No difference.
Edit: Bug found!! When traveling from Eggsborrrow to Sheths Keep, I travel for a short distance then am teleported on the overhanging ice cliff that has blunt on it. Fairly certain this is a bug, because you are only supposed to be able to get up there from the pathway, right?

yes. you are right. because mount and blade does not understand overhanging pieces of land it warps you up or down. I am still working on a way around that.

Thanks for the reminder.

thanks for testing the morale issue. I wil get it all fixed up in the next release!

I already fixed quite a few issues this week.

I just want to get a good chunk done before releasing another version.

Good, good. When the next version is released, I can properly do this. For now, the morale issues are killing me.

Don't know why i'm seeing a lot of complaints about morale, i have 10 soldiers and 5 bags of grain and it says my morale is excellent.

It's funny you mentioned that. I tested about 4 hours last night in the current build and I did not have a problem with morale. I was level 12 and had abut 40 men in my party including 5 npcs.  As long as I carried enough food in my inventory everything was ok.

That may be true, but the starter levels are difficult. I have a tendency to fill up my party to the max, and when I have -600 morale on my party, I'm going down no matter how much food I have.

The trick is to have a small and mobile party, be strong enough to beat an average lord but fast enough to escape a large party  its tough to find that balance. Treespaw archers seem to do the trick

I know how it works, it's just I prefer to have a full party. I like big battles... In fact, I'm looking for a battle size modifier for warband, but can't find any. Would really suit this, especially with the big party that the player can have.

THIS IS MADNESS!!, no seriously thats just crazy you would be much better off having a medium sized party with your inventory packed with food, well that's what i do.

*Punches* No sparta jokes. Overdone, overused. Over-over. But really, I like having a full party... I go out of my way to get a full party, sometimes. Before I discovered mods, I was running around with a full party of Swadian Knights.

Well,

I actually designed the mod so that you could have bigger parties for a reason. Based solely on the fact that most soldiers are harder to kill. I just completed an hour of playing with 166 men in my party and I never had an issue with morale. The only time it faultered was when i loafed around and traveled great distances without getting into any action.

Morale fluctuates bases on what type of troops you have versus who you are fighting as well as "party size" "party type"  "command" and so on.. If you are carrying around 100 treespaw archers and you are fighting the treespaw then your introuble. your army needs to be based on who you plan on combating.

I have tested the morale in a multitude of ways the last few nights. The only way I had any trouble with morale was when I carried just myself and 6 npcs. for some reason i always lost morale when fightign with that small of a party. anythign else and I was fine based on who i fought. I mean I can't go raiding treespaw villages with a treespaw army and expect to keep morale up. in those cases i have set it so that you pay a huge penalty in morale.

I just finished tweaking it or "dumbing" it down further so it should not be a problem in the next release. The only other thing I could do would be to remove it all together. which at this point I really dont want to do. but I can.

I understand that for you right now morale is an issue. It will not be in the next release. Thats the best I could possibly offer.

The battle sizer is built into the mod. just use the "Battlesizer.exe" located in the main directory of the mod. Although I would not reccomend it right now until I trim down some of the models. You can give it a try though.

Might as well test it. Tell you what is wrong with it, even if you already know. Won't be able to be doing any testing this week though... Going back packing. In freezing winds and freezing cold. Tonight is gonna be fun.

Back packing sounds fun actually. Just bring the proper gear and the cold won't matter! Sleeping in cold weather is always the toughest part. Get that comfortable an the actual hicking is great!

hehe.

thanks for testing. It helps a ton. Be safe on your trip.

The guardian mount animation needs more work, it still acts like a horse so his upper jaw goes straight through his lower jaw, and the crossfire sniper needs downsizing because he holds the weapon's stock instead of the trigger.

The guardian was actually something I ment to pull from the mod before releasing. I just completely forgot. I could never get the model built right so that the horse annimation worked well with it. It probably will not make it to the final release.

The crossfire sniper rifle itself can be repositioned to fix that blemish. no problem at all. the crossfire civ is sized to the default and I do not want to tinker with their body size. When you change the particular civ size in mount and blade it also changes the size of everything the character carries and uses. so weapons armor and everything they equip becomes bigger. it's quite funny looking actually. Bows become ballistas and so on. LOL
