News:
3/16/2010: The vote posted is not the final descision. I agree with 2 princes maybe a side mission where they battle each other and then become friends or something might be incorporated. Ulrich Von Lichtenstein WILL be the leader as you all wanted, as well as I did. There will also be 2 princes.
3/16/2010: THE MAP FILES ARE NOT DESTROYED! i did back them up into my mod folder with like pictures, files, important mod stuff!
3/13/2010: well more bad news, apparently i deleted the moutn and blade folder on my flash drive, thinking that it wasnt anything but mods, then i reformatted my old 100gb hard drive from my old computer. In return, THE MAP FILES ARE GONE. No matter, ill restart when i get the new OS... i only had made 2 other maps that took me over 5 hours each to make before that one, which took me around 20 hours total to make! I WILL NOT STOP WORKING ON THE MOD, JUST WANTED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT THE MAP WILL NOT BE THE EXACT SAME THING AS IT WAS LAST TIME.

-Your fiefs will make more income and be able to sustain themselves for a week or so, depending on how good you take care of them, rather than you having to check up on them all the time
-Many more companions to recruit in taverns, as well as more mercenaries
-Rethought troops trees and factions
-More factions than Native
-There will be personal advisers in castles, which you can choose out of your companions, or use the default ones.
-You will be able to create parties out of your companions.[
-You will be able to rename your characters to whatever you wish.

To tell, the truth, you either have to be really good at modeling to get a coder to join you, learn how to code, or something, cause if you don't have a coder things won't go well for you.
 
Learning to code doesn't really seem so hard, I just never worked up the determination to learn how. If you're going to be the lead dev, I would suggest at least having a basic knowledge of it, like adding items, towns, etc. I'm not talking making Kingdom Managment here... Anyway, really like the helmet model!
 
Thank you. It would help if people who like it signed up on the website, just to give the team some support. Currently, the only people signed up are the team members...

yeah, well...

Edit: hopefully, ill be getting a copy of winXP soon and download that as my OS instead of win7. uuuhg.. never get win7 if your a gamer or someone who enjoys doing anything besides browsing the internet...
 
I'm going to start making some troop trees actually.. i figure if i cant use any of the tools currently, i might as well do SOMETHING.
 
lol, well as i said we dont have a coder at the moment, and we're looking for scene editors, trop editors, coders, riggers, scripters. Some of those are probably the same thing but thats really what we're looking for.

also everybody, please note there is NO RELEASE DATE and i dont plan on making one for a while.
 
You can better try to most things yourself. You learn from it, which is useful in the future if you are going to make more mods, and you need less people on working on the mod. Only it takes some/a lot of time to learn most of it.

People also look to the skills of the mod leader, because most of the mod making you will have to do yourself and if some people might stop working it, the whole mod slows down and eventually dies in the worst case scenario. If you can do most stuff yourself, you can keep developing, rather slow than none.

And you can do a lot of work for your mod, even you do not have any PC/laptop to work on. Good ol' pen and paper :wink:.
 
lol.. as i said before, i am going to start trying my hand at python and things of the nature. on top of that as i said in the site, which you probably didnt go to before starting to give me advice, WINDOWS 7 DOESNT WORK WELL WITH THINGS LIKE THE MOUTN AND BLADE EDITOR, PYTHON, ETC. the moutn and blade editor just wont work. I really dont know why, but im almost sure that its 100% windows 7. it worked fine on XP, which is what im going to eventually revert back to. also, as i said before you give any advice or criticism please read all the stickies on the site.
 
Sorry, I did not read your site :razz:. Sorry for that. Just dump Windows 7 and use XP then, which you are already trying to do so...
 
yeah.. the fact is waiting until i can get a copy of it.. and i used 190/1000gb of hard drive space within >1month. I have my old 100gig hard drive in my comp as well... but still. only 1/2 of my things can be transferred. :sad:

edit: also, you should look at the site and maybe join it as a fan. people posting on there just feels like they are interested :smile:
