The "Légion Irlandaise" is a french army corps made up of 5 regiments leaded by a General Staff. Here are the regiments composing it :
- The Ulster Foot Guard Regiment leaded by Demon.
- The Munster Line Infantry Regiment leaded by Mac Aaron.
- The Dublin Artillery Regiment leaded by Xuu.
- The Leinster Cuirassier Regiment leaded by O'Montcalm.
- The Connacht Light Infantry Regiment leaded by Budzinskiy and Fondux.
The General Staff is made up of the Marshal Mac Adam, the Major-General Mac Belgian, the (Infantry) Brigadier General Warc and finally the (Cavalery) Brigadier General Ser Coof.
You'll notice a few names in relation with the "Ve Corps" and the "Légion de la Vistule". In fact the "Légion Irlandaise" is the result of a fusion between the "Ve Corps" and the "Légion de la Vistule".
You'll then notice that none of these regiments have ever existed, well that's simply because of, on the contrary of other regiments we decided to created our own history and identity to serve our project of the "Légion Irlandaise".
Thereby our Corps is provided with a rather far background and roleplay dimension, added with our own banners an skin for our characters in game.

"Légion Irlandaise" Background
Mac Adam, Irish immigrant close to Napoleon sets his projet to invade England crossing Ireland. Napoleons agrees and hire a few men, as for Mac Adam, he chooses his most faithful men to constitute his General Staff. After the battle of Trafalgar, only two ships of the French fleet came through and ground in Ireland. Mac Adam disembarks with the project of the “Légion Irlandaise”.
Presentation of our Regiments
The Munster Line Infantry Regiment
RP Introduction : He first disembarks in Cork with his most faithful men, that is to say Ser Cof , Warc, Mac Aaron, Demon and also Fondux, Montclam, Budzinskiy. Adding to this elite troop Mac Belgian who left to Ireland hoping to found a prestigious Military Academy. Sounding this area from top to bottom during several weeks together with its inhabitants, and after noticing that these men wished to fight without the skill, Mac Adam decided to grant the command to Mac Aaron to train these young recruits. He is assisted by MacBlouk for this huge task.
The Munster Line Infantry Regiment was born.

Regiment presentation : Presentation of the Regiment : Former line regiment of the " Légion de la Vistule " . The line regiment from Munster is actually leader by colonel Mac Aaron. This regiment is a reliable and very polyvalent line as much as shooting as fighting in hand to hand fightings. Spearhead of the legion with the footguard from Ulster, this line of 30men always in high spirits is constantly looking for rookies to grow up the regiment ! The enlistment is less selective than an another regiment, it’s better to go there it if you are a beginner.
The trainings takes place in sunday's evening at 18.pm et are often completed with another train more important in the week. Adding there is a " sponsoring system " very useful for the new ones in Munster and their formation.
The Connacht Light Infantry Regiment
RP Introduction : Then the troop went to the north, to Galway. On the way, the meet an isolated irish village. They explain they live from the hunting product et says they are really gifted in archery. Warc tests the youngsters and discovers their surprising ability. The volunteers tempted with glory and wealth promises enlist en masse, and as a result leaders were promoted. For the first company, the Voltigeurs, Fondux was in charge, as for the second company, the Flanqueurs, it was Budzinskiy.
They formed the Connacht Light Infantery Regiment.

Regiment presentation : The regiment of Connacht is a light infantry regiment composed of twenty soldiers ! There are two companies with their own particularities : there is the company of " Flanqueur " with a gameplay based on the complementarity with our two lines and there is the company of " Voltigeurs " with a more offensive gameplay. As a consequence, joining one of their company calls for rigor, seriousness and good skills at shooting.
The two companies have different trainings but the two of them can make a training together. This companies are leaded by the captain Fondux for the " Voltigeurs " & the captain Budzinskyi for the " Flanqueurs " .
The Leinster Cuirassier Regiment
RP Introduction : Once the recruits were enlisted and the hierarchy was organized, the growing army starting to look like a corps goes to Navan to buy horses. But as soon as arrived, they understand that only a few horses are allowed to be sold by the fact that the majority of this region of the Leinster is breeding horses.
They discover an unique relation between the purebred horses and their horsemen so that they stay several weeks into the village surroundings in the company of the young breeders. Finally when it’s time to leave some of the youngsters decide to accompany their friends in their adventures. Learning the sword handling thanks to the Montcalm’s well-advised advices, the Leinster Cuirassiers open the army’s march of what is from now on called the “Légion Irlandaise”.

Regiment presentation : The cavalry regiment of the " Legion Irlandaise " also named : The Cuirassier from Leinster. This regiment is unique, indeed it’s the only heavy cavalery regiment in the french community and maybe one of the few heavy cavalery in international community. So every player in this regiment like to play rider mounted on heavy horse ( which are slow ) and they have to be good at this. A good cavalery has an important role in the battlefield and if it makes a good job, the consequence of a charge of 40 cuirassiers can be very important on the enemies ranks. This regiment is leaded by the Canadian O’Montcalm and his second O’Bèse.
Their trainings are decided in the week by one of their officer. It’s the bold stroke and the courage of our cavalry which make their personnality; that sentence can resume the cavalry of the " Légion Irlandaise ".
The Ulster Foot Guard Regiment
RP Introduction : The legion goes to the north territories run into a quarrelsome people filled with bitterness. A fight break between some farmers and soldiers near the army camp and after the fact it gathers them around the camp fire and a beer. From these courageous and bruiser people Ser Coof makes forms grenadiers, hand to hand elite which is always in the action.
He entrusts Demon with the commandement. He possess the best skills in this field to train these men and make them specialized fighters.

Motto : Nach bhfuil na fir go bhfuil siad Lions ( They are not men, they are lions )
Regiment presentation : The Ulster's Footguard : our second line. Composed by men who have to be good in melee, they’ve an important strike attack on the battlefield. It was the 46e line infantry regiment before becoming the regiment from Ulster. So the enlistment is more strict and only players with good melee’s skills are be accepted in their ranks. Leaded by Demon and Callaghan, and componed of 40 men, they're the guys who'll you play with in the Irish Legion.
The regiment set two trainings. One on wednesay and the other one on saturday between 5 & 5.30 pm. An officer can personaly train a single man too. Indeed it’s necessary to be skileld and disciplined as a footguard.
The Dublin Artillery Regiment
RP Introduction : The end of their trip leads them in Dublin. By strolling in the city they see a forge in very bad state but still functional. When approaching the workers, their leader explained that he made some excellent work but their sales were not enough to maintain the workshop . In exchange of money and the promise that he will always be under the orders of Xuu and having verified their talent in mechanics and ballistics, the regiment of artillery of Dublin completes the " Legion Irlandaise "

Regiment presentation : The artillery and its sappers of the " Légion Irlandaise " will be glad to welcome you in the Dublin Artillery Regiment leaded by the colonel Xuu with the help of this 10 men. Supporters to cannon's and howitzer's fire, these guys can easily use any artillery piece to make ravage in the ennemy ranks. Nothing better than a good artillery to rout a line. And don't forget our sappers who are like little ants to make the best defence to protect our artillery. If you enjoy to be the terror of the line don't hesitate anymore, the Dublin regiment need always brave cannoneers to fire its iron terror!
" Légion Irlandaise " Headquarter
RP Introduction : Mac Adam was chosen with Mac Belgian by whom the idea of a military academy did not stop increasing in order to manage the whole Legion whereas Ser Coof who maintained good relations with O'Montcalm was appointed as leader of cavalry's brigade and Warc who excelled at the command of the infantry was logically appointed as leader of the infantry units.

Regiment presentation : The " Legion Irlandaise "'s head with Mac Adam, Mac Belgian, Warc and Ser Coof. Their main function pertain to administrative tasks and to help the colonels of every regiment etc... That is the heavy task to coordinate every regiment on the battlefield for a better efficiency and cohesion. Ser Coof, managing the cavalry, Warc the infantry and Mac Adam making the junction between the whole. Mac Belgian possesses the same capacities but takes care exceptionally of the Military academy unique project in the French community. This is the way we can notice that every part of the " Legion Irlandaise " in these peculiarities which are appropriate for it.
Military Academy
An unique initiative
Established only by Mac Belgian, he wants it to be a place of gathering for the community of Napoleonic Wars. This institution aims at putting together the amateurs of tactics, strategy and military history so that emergent constructive debates and moved forward in our manners to play. We shall approach so much the aspects of strategy more global than more precise tactical considerations. The teaching will will be provided by the professors' active participation specialized and stemming from various horizons. This trainers' body will propose, besides lectures, practical exercises called : " war games "
The one who joins the Academy can choose two ways. The first one is the one of the simple free pupil who will attend the class with more or less of diligence and who will participate in the debates as one pleases. The second category is the one of the pupil-student, aspiring to the certificate of the Academy. This last one will have to attend to every class and to participate in the debate, he will also have to practise a lot during the " war games ". At the end of its route the professors and the jury will meet to rule qualities of the pupil and deliver him finally its certificate of the Academy.
The speech can seem pompous but it is necessary to preserve this shape which oscillates between the rp and the constructive discussion about points of gameplay diverse and varied.
