The king of Swadia has gone missing !!!

I've been looking for harlaus for some time, eventualy finding him as a prisoner in Veluca.
On my way to Veluca, i get a message saying he was freed.
20 game days later, i'm still looking... 
He is nowhere to be found on the map (i even used the Ctrl+t cheat).
Is it a bug, or is he hiding somewhere?.

I used cheats and checked every town in the map but he was not in prison.

Deri, were you as mercenary ? It may be related in being a merc.

Happened to me as well, and his kingdom fell apart without him, strangely enough.

It would appear to be a bug. I had the same problem after he got captured.

Yes, Lords still vanish sometimes in 0.951

Im having the same problem, Harlus has gone missing, he's nowhere to be seen...and Im a merc as well, my first game in wich things are finally going smoothly and a game breaking bug appears >< I think I'll have to restart and this time  avoid becoming a merc.

In the new version, Graveth got captured and then reappeared. This would appear to be fixed.

Nope, still a problem. Harlaus has been AWOL for over 60 days in my game. Seems he took several commanders with him.
Eventually swore allegiance to Wossname Lass of Suno, got a few lords in the rebellion and captured all of Swadia, beat the remainder of Harlaus' henchmen, but nothing happens.

There are different ways of ending a capture.
Being "released" makes the lord vanish, while being "freed" allows him to respawn (in the game log).

It actually happens pretty often. Its just that with normal Lords you dont notice it except if they vanish in the time between accepting a quest from them and you returning for a reward.

So they are being "relaxed" instead of "released"? 

(For those who are wondering, the Spanish inquisition would "relax" prisoners to the worldly authorities for execution.)

This happened to me too.  While vanished Harlaus offered me a fief.  I accepted thinking it might make him reappear but he's still vanished and I can't get it from him.

Same thing happened to King Ragnar.

I got the message saying he was released, and I've already spent a good 20 minutes using the true sight cheat to try and find him.

Same thing for Nord Lord Girlag.  He gyped me of my reward for killing a murderer :\

Yargolek was missing in my game also, but as I was playing along, a message popped up saying "TODO: Your prisoner King Yargolek has escaped from such-and-such." And lo and behold, when I went back to Rayvadin, he was there. Guess I got lucky.

Same thing here. Never found Harlaus even at the beginning of the game. I did the mercenary quest for the Swadians, never saw Harlaus. Day 150 or so now. Waiting... waiting... waiting... waiting... waiting... waiting... waiting... waiting... waiting... waiting... waiting... waiting... waiting...
