Quick question, why is the spectator symbol the Illuminati symbol?

It is? Oh, now I understand why that symbol bothered me all the time. 
It wasn't intentional. I just added first symbol I found which reminded me of God or all-seeing eye. Although I didn't truly like it and I thought about changing it in the next patch... and now, when you mentioned it, I don't like it even more and I'm sure that I will change it ASAP.

Well, I have an acquaintance and he takes pictures and photoshops things to make triangles. He then posts them on Illuminati conspiracy websites and watches them go crazy. It's actually quite amusing.
Edit: The person pointing out they're onto me made the 3rd post. Half-Life 3 confirmed and three sides of the triangle add up.

Aw, I always thought it added a little random flavour, and I thought it was nice that it made people like Hazzardevil and me scratch our heads.
