another question: will the gate be openable by a chain systeem on the wall or just click when standing next to it and it will open?

No winding stairs on the side of the Hornburg, no.
The only way to open the gate is by the winch yeah, wouldn't know how to get a battering ram workable in Multiplayer.

I thought it was that the defenders wished for 300 Elven Archers, not that there were 300 in the movies.  It seemed like more anyway, I could be wrong.

Both Invasion and Siege modes are worked on.
Only Helm's Deep is going to be night time. The Battle for the Isen is going to be day.

the darkness in the video will make it quite hard to see what your doing in the map. may i suggest having a flaming torch as an equipable item in the shield slot, so you can use a torch to light the way and fight with a sword.

Could very well work, but... It's not that dark, the video always makes things darker than they are.

There will be some sort of ladders yes, and no, the wall wont be destroyable, for some number of reasons... Could be done, just not by me.

so there will be ladders on the deeping wall but will there also be massive ones that go on the keep wall?

I'm afraid not. Tried that in an earlier version and it didn't work during tests, since everyone just focused on those and not on the deeping wall.

btw where is the crank for the gate gonna be? on the top of the gate or on the second keep wall?

On top of the gate, in the gatehouse. It wont be too hard to get there once the deeping wall is breached.
