The golden throne

Hello, first of all congratulations on a phenomenal game. Really enjoying myself. I am curious what the parameters are for getting the golden throne achievement. I have conquered all of the areas and all of the towns etc. everything is in red all across the map. I am just curious what else needs to be done to get this achievement. Do I need to eliminate all of the factions or what? Once again great game can't wait for the new one. Hopefully it is released on Xbox one as well.

From my limited experience i believe you need to officially defeat all the factions as in they cant have any Lords pissing about the map serving another king. When you defeat a faction it will tell you as much in the notes.

For me, all my faction notes say they are "no more" except the khergits who have two vassals. Im in the same boat as you. I own the entire map and most of my vassals are tearing about the map with 100+ armies. By all rights i should have earned golden throne (and empress, because im rocking a female toon). Im going to try some more methods to try and get the last vassals to turn tail on sanjar khan.
