i found something wrong with the multiplayer mod
i tried to type in team and all chat and nothing happened

I wanted to train my own Red Hand army but yeah, it's very difficult when you have only one village so I went and joined Seanchans instead. I tried the Fast Crossbow in MP and the rate of fire is something insane. I bet it can shoot faster than normal bows. AI most likely doesn't use it so fast though. Also, has anyone been using Two River's longbowmen? Or Red Hand Fast Crossbowmen? Just wondering if you think they are too powerful. (I realize with the recruitment problems most of you probably don't have a lot of Legion troops in your armies.) I need to find a solution for that.
Banners for multiplayer are still messed up. I actually haven't made any new banners for the mod. And there are a lot of duplicates now. I have gotten a bit of feedback that the factions have a lot of troops, but I sort of did that on purpose. I wanted to avoid the 20+ smaller factions that would have been needed in order to represent all the different countries. The troop tree is a little confusing, but I'll try to post it soon so you all can look over what is actually going on.Negro of Serbia said:Hey, the mod is great! I first tried the multiplayer part (with bots) and there are only minor things such as slowdowns when there's a lot of channelers, but it's not a big deal...also, it's somehow confusing with so many troops for bots - maybe you could divide them in more factions or something like that (though it's not a big deal because I guess it is different with real players), and there are still banners of Swadia, Khergits etc.
Also, I noticed a bug with "Lady" Arymilla (was in Cairhien) - she is male and retained some parts of dialog from Dustum Khan (Khergit claimant)...
Maybe it would be clearer if the factions would be divided (but I haven't read all WoT books, so I don't know if it would be proper story-wise) because it would allow for more troop trees...
Either way, I think this mod has some bright future and I will certainly follow it and test it...if you need any help tell me...I don't know much of module system, but I could learn it...
Best wishes
I'm not sure why Dragonsworn don't help eachother out. I thought I just changed their name and what types of troops will spawn. I may have messed up some of their flags that determine aggressiveness accidentally.Tumetsu said:Dragonsworns I was fighting are like looters in Native and I can kill any number of them without channeling if I have horse and some kind of melee weapon. No, numbers doesn't matter so much. They don't even join other Dragonsworns' battles (bug?) like others do, for example in the pic posted there were four of them plus the one I had just killed and I had to fight every one of them individually.
I tried multiplayer too and I must say it wouldn't work if there is only humans playing. What is the point of being Shienar Borderguard with heaviest possible armor if any Aes Sedai can Baelfire you anytime. I got crazy k/d ratios as different channelers and I mostly died only when I wanted to try different class of faction. No horses for channelers might be a good idea. At least a little balance...

Edit: A few pictures

They're like really accurate Channelers that don't do splash damage. I've not tried the Red Hand crossbowmen, since I'm not really a crossbow guy, but I've seen what they can do. Less accurate but tougher than the Two Rivers men.
Kotton: The Two Rivers longbowmen are the best in the game in my opinion. If you're raiding a hideout or fighting in the streets/castle, it's always great to have at least a few with you.
Tumetsu: The Dragonsworn are kind of insane with their bases, plus they are really easy to wipe out. Take on the Aiel for a challenge. Sieging them is pretty close to suicide, seeing as all of their troops are made to work without cavalry and they have channelers.
Yeah, that ter'angreal is somekind of pistol looking like a dagger, methinks.Tumetsu said:Shield+Channeling?
It is supposed to be possible to use shield while channeling? Now I can shoot fireballs and keep my shield up at the same time.
One Power out of ammo
I have few times (usually after hurling fireballs non-stop) found a situation when I can't channel even when the mana thing is full again.

[quote author=My notes]Heron Mark Blade - Quest
It would be cool to have some sort of quest in order to win the Heron Mark for yourself. Maybe Tournaments or arena could be used somehow. Winning one guy in single duel would be too easy though
Siege bug <=> Praven
I'm sure I have seen that bug somewhere else too, maybe it was Diplomacy and the town was Praven then

Tactic - Shienar guys fast level with Dragonsworns
In fact I found great use for those Dragonsworn bandits. I noticed that Shienar recruits can be upgraded to very tough cavalry and so I visited all the westernmost Borderland villages and collected ~50 recruits. I then went back to Arad Doman and bandits (70-150 men parties) started to attack me and get slaughtered. Every party gave some 2,5k experience and I trained 30 Shienar Captains within a day
Fireball - Freeze
Should freeze dispel fireball effect and other way around?
Due to channeling thing after taverns and stuff?
I'm not sure but I think I got that bonus exp after channeling not-in-battle like taverns, castles or similar
River crossing points in world map
It's difficult to plan any longer route when I don't know where I can cross rivers. Is it possible to mark them somehow, not necessarily with bridges
Too few archers
Like it says. Also due to that three-upgrades-and-still-peasant -thing AI is using a lot of recruits. I think I saw some Andor army of 120 with 80 same type of peasants.

Lord Defect thing like in Books
An idea. Would it be possible to force lords to change faction like they do in books.
Village's culture change code
In Blood&Steel you can build a training facility to a village and change for example Rhodok village to give Nord recruits.
Out of power ammo. - once i counted how much MAXIMUM of bolts you can fire and its... 255 bolts ... so 5000 its=modulo(5000)256=5000-[whole part of (5000/256)]*256=136 that you havemat2rivs said:Out of power ammo. You must have been chain casting because you should have seen a message that says, "You are about to run out of ammo, press 'I' to recharge." Actually, you don't really have ammo. For some reason, the game will let the channeling code run about 130 times per battle even though you have no ammo. Then it will start throwing the 'out of ammo' error. Just press 'I' and then exit the inventory screen to be able to channel again.
