Hi Talewords,

I've been a fan of your games for a while now. I've bought mount and blade during it's released beta, and I couldn't wait for the finished product. The concept was so original and so well done, I was really impressed and I was really glad to part with the (15 dollars was it?). When Warband came out, I expected a lot of changes and there were a lot of changes and holycrap multiplayer! It was really impressive, but oddly felt familiar. Fire And Sword, I'm not gonna lie, was down right disappointing, at least to me.

So this is how it is, Talewords, if you are planning on releasing another mount and blade series and it's a rehash of the original, I'm not gonna buy it. I want to see improvements, better engine, better graphics, better physics and better animations. Thanks for listening.

War of the Roses??? Wtf is that? I heard they're working on M&B 2, but this?.. Never heard of...

Mount&Blade 2 is supposed to be a Pirate game[ I know, it may sound stupid. And it will]. Its ''Project Obvious'', War of the Roses is just a mod...

Umh, no. War of the Roses is a completely new game but it's not developed by Taleworlds, it's developed by "Fatshark" but published by paradox interactive as mount & blade.

This is unlikely to come as a surprise, but there's a copious amount of misinformation in the prior "exchange."

--War of the Roses is a new game to be published by Paradox (the publisher for M&B Warband and WFaS's international release...and presumably the upcoming M&B2) but is developed by Fatshark (which is not Taleworlds, nor is it SicH, but a Swedish game developer). War of the Roses, from all the information currently available, is done on an engine by Fatshark and is in no way related to M&B aside from sharing a publisher and a focus on medieval warfare.

--The "pirate game" that Cleomanes referenced is not M&B 2/"project obvious". It is a new game developed by SicH, the devs of With Fire and Sword, and, like WFaS, it is based on Taleworlds' M&B (Warband, I would assume) engine.

--Project Obvious, or M&B 2, other than being the actual sequel in the M&B/Warband series actually developed by Taleworlds, has had no further useful information released about it.

I don't think it will be in Europe. Maybe some continent off from Calradia.
