The game wouldn't start after the latest patch. My Norton blocks the startup even though it is marked as "Allowed" in Norton's firewall.

I hope there is a solution.

Firewall usually handles the network park of the security software. It might be the antivirus or some other part of Norton does the blocking. Try excluding the executable like described in this link.

I have disabled the firewall only. I will follow what is in the link.

Unfortunately, it didn't work.

Check if the anti-virus remove any game file to Quarantine, or in Steam check the integrity files of the game, there are people reporting the same problem.

Unforrtounaly, it couldn't work. I think it is from the game itself.

Try to completely disable your antivirus, if it doesn't work then it's another thing;

If you have any mod completely remove them from the game's folder, they are prone to break after updates and some can prevent the game from starting;

If both don't work try to verify integrity to see if there are any missing/corrupted files.
