Thinking the same here mate! I love the game as is, and can't wait for it to get content update! I generally think that the companions should be more live like, having problems, visions and character. There is a small bit of that ex. when you raid a village, if the companion had a history of hate surrounding that topic they will react. Apart from that I would like to at least take my companions into a tavern get them some wine and talk about tales, so when you later make a kingdom your nobels actually have their stories and a true relation with you, so that you care if they die!
