Resolved The game does not launch on 1.7.1

Summary: Tried to mod the game to a mod using 1.7.1, did not launch. I then realised the game does not launch even with just native modules. So I reinstalled the entire game, including deleting all data throughout my drive, to no success.
How to Reproduce: Press play

OS: Windows 10
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
GPU Driver Version: 516.94 (Latest)
CPU: Intel i5-9400F
RAM: 16 Gb
Motherboard: 3333
Storage Device (HDD/SSD): ADATA SX6000PNP

This was fixed by deleting the language_data.xml files found throughout the modules folder.

Thanks for this. I faced the same issue and this solved it. I wonder why the downgrade process does not remove non 1.7.1 though. Another crazy move from TW.

Made this account just to tell you that you are a saint. Spend the last 2 days trying to figure out why i couldn't launch the unmodded game after downgrading to 1.7.2 to play with a few mods.

Well.. maybe you should fix the installer to remove those files automatically when downgrading the game version I guess...
It's not very obvious in your response if you did it...
