This part dumbfounds me. Your baby goes missing from it's crib and you don't call the police until hours later, despite the fact that you've been searching for it? What, did she think it went out for a walk?

Many of you non-Canadians don't seem to be aware of our - in certain parts - not insignificant Native populations, and all the problems they're still facing as a result of the past. Relations with the police being one of them.

Why is it you guys don't give a **** until they get their own country? America, Canada, Australia, etc. were all colonized by you guys, you know...And before everyone decided to revolt, George Washington would have been just as British, or just as much of an Englishman as you. I understand what you're saying about Canada, as I realize half of it is actually of French descent (Well, I can't say I understand all the hating going on, but whatever) but it's not like those of English descent have all bred with natives or Frenchies and formed some ugly mutated human species...I'm sure the average Englishman in the mid 1700s didn't walk around with some odd contempt for every former co-worker who decided to go on a little boat ride.
