I have Dubin in my party. Never seen anybody called Game
If I remember correctly Dubin was a NPC in the 0.903 version
and at the start of the game you would be given the option to
either kill him or take him into your party.
I guess check_engine forgot to take him out of the game entirely.
Don't know why he's now called 'game'  :smile:
 
Dubin is actually in the game as an NPC in the tavern.  I'm still trying to work around how to get special conditions to fire for certain NPCs (I want to give you the option to only hire Dubin if you are a slave, or if you freed him), unfortunately all the NPC dialog has been moved to the string.py file which takes a way the ability to have special intances set up for certain NPCs (which having it all in dialog.py allowed you to do).

I'm not sure where the person you ran into came from.  All traces of Dubins old location should have been removed and he should have just replaced Marnid.  I'll look into it.

You may be right I'll post over in the Forge asking for help.  I love the Mount and Blade Community most of the time, but it seems like when you ask for help anymore everyone clams up tighter than a state's witness against the mob.

Don Doggy, did you choose to be a merchant at the beginning of the game? During character creation, I apparently "found" a runaway slave in a city and hid him from justice, and that made my relations with "Rebel Slaves" go from -5 to -1, which doesn't seem to help seeing that they aren't a faction in the current version.

It still doesn't make the stupid Mutinous Slaves keep on trying to attack me. For some reason they all want to attack me, even though I have a buffed up army of fifty then still chase me down with their party of five. Do they just all have death wishes?

Eventually that choice thread will be one of the only two ways to get Dubin to join your party (not fully implemented yet) when you find him in the tavern.  If you have Dubin in your party you will have the option to avoid Rebellious slaves (not implemented yet).  That's the plan at least.

Unfortunately the Fall of Zendar has hit a small snag.  That being a massive computer crash on my laptop.  The bad news is I won't be able to continue work on it until we actually get a place of our own so that I can unpack my desk top and set it up (she would have a fit if I installed what I need to continue on her precious computer).  The good news being that the module system has been backed up in three different locations, so no work has actually been lost.

That being said I would still like to collect material so that I have it all together so when version 1.0 comes out (and my real computer is up and running) and can do a quick port to the new native version with completed troop trees.

Sooooo.  I'm still looking for someone who can whip up a few new armour configurations and at the very least someone willing to do armour re-texturing to get some of the current game armour more fitting to the time period of the mod.

If any of this interests you please send me a PM.  The only criterea I ask is that if you take a look at what is needed you actually follow through with a product.  Not to sound rude, just tired of people promising the moon and then falling of the face of the planet.
